Biography

Ph.D. from University of Cambridge UK (Department of Material Science). Entrepreneur and co-founder of a start-up, Cambridge Solar Environmental Solutions (CAMSES), at University of Cambridge UK based on my patent from Ph.D. work. Awarded an entrepreneurial visa by the UK government due to my entrepreneurial ventures during my Ph.D. studies. Established US Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USAID FUNDED PROJECT of $20 million), 2013-2019 as a founding Director. Commenced 05 master and two Ph.D. programs in project life. Established state of art labs of Power engineering, Thermal Energy Engineering, Materials for Energy Applications, and Renewable energy. Leveraged $ 1 million for USPCASE from different agencies. Was appointed a Vice Chancellor of City University of Science and technology, Peshawar but could not join due to my Bond with UET Peshawar. As an UNDP consultant, Developed 10 years Energy plan for FATA. As Principal investigator raised PKR 65 million for my research projects and spin-off companies. Remained faculty members of well-reputed institutions such as Edwardes College Peshawar, Institute of Chemical Sciences University of Peshawar, and UET Peshawar. Experience in establishing new academic institutions, international linkages, and making sustainability plans. Expertise in project management, business development, and technology integration for strategic business solutions. Developing R&D projects that can attract public funding and helping to create novel revenue streams for businesses, based on innovative products and services. Provided consultancy to industry and government (agencies) in different fields. 17 years of multidimensions experience.
