Universal Testing Machine
The 30KN Universal Testing machine is well equipped with high resolution and auto-ranging load cells and video extensometer. Extensive range of grips for Fiber, sheets, rectangular flat, and rod samples and make it highly versatile. Testing speed ranges from 0.001 to 1000mm/min. In addition, the lab is also equipped with a cutting die in order to cut specimens in dumb-bell as per test standards.

Rockwell and Universal Hardness Testing Machine
The material testing lab is equipped with a Universal Hardness Tester with load ranging from 1kgf to 250kgf and is capable of performing Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers Hardness tests. The machine has a Vickers and Brinell Microscope and optical depth measuring system (Rockwell, HBT, Ball indentation). The machine is easy to operate and contains a work piece sliding table.

Advance Pendulum Impact Tester (Rayran RR/IMT)
The material testing lab has an advance pendulum inpact tester capable of performing Charpy and Izod Testing in compliacne with the ATSM Standards. The package includes fixed weight and variable weight impact hammers with energies ranging from 0.5 to 50 Joules.

• To interpret ductile brittle behavior of a material from the absorbed energy during impact at various temperatures.
• Determining the stress concentration factor for notched and un-notched specimens.
