Muhammad Noman has received his B. Sc. Degree from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (SEECS), National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. In 2009, he attained his Master’s degree in Microelectronics and Photonics from Hogskolan I Halmstad, Sweden. His master’s research was mainly focused on Photonic crystal design. In 2012, he pursued his doctoral studies at the department of Electronics, Politecnico di Torino, Italy. During his Ph.D. he worked on the synthesis, fabrication and characterization of Novel Materials for Electrochemiluminescence devices. He got the best Ph.D. research award, 2015 following which he has been offered post-doctorate fellowship at the same university. He has worked in collaboration with different institutes including Houston Methodist Research Institute (Texas, USA), Tyndall National University (Ireland) and university of Parma (Italy). Since February 2016, he is working as an Assistant Professor at Renewable Energy Engineering department, U.S. Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E), University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar. Beside teaching and supervising M.Sc. research projects, he is currently involved in two different U.S. funded projects that includes Mechanical testing of PV modules and zero energy buildings. Throughout his academic carrier he has been very active in Extra-curricular activities and based on that he has been assigned an additional responsibility of being Incharge of Sports and Event at USPCAS-E, UET Peshawar.
