USPCAS-E Faculty visits International Islamic University Islamabad Briefs students on Fall Admissions Featured

An outreach visit was held for Fall Admissions, 2016 in Electrical Energy System Engineering at Electronics Engineering Department, Islamic International University, Islamabad on 11th August 2016. Dr. Abdul Basit, Assistant Professor, Electrical Energy System Engineering and Engr. Faheem Ali were the speakers. The students were informed about the Postgraduate Programs; admission procedure, scholarships and benefits. This was an interactive session where students and faculty members asked various questions. As many as 60 students participated along with faculty members.
 
The faculty of USPCAS-E UET Peshawar and IIU exchanged views for future research collaborations.  In a meeting held with Prof. Dr. Engr. Ahmad Shuja Sayyed, Principal Investigator of IDP Funded Advanced Electronics Lab, the meeting discussed areas relating to photovoltaic and advanced nano materials. The faculty also visited the Advanced Electronics Lab. It was informed that almost 120 projects of Ph.D. and master level are carried out by the researchers. Dr .Sayyed expressed his cooperation on extending free of cost fabrication and testing facilities to the  students and possibility of research collaboration with faculty of USPCAS-E UET Peshawar.
